With deep pride and emotion, the Hippocratic Cancer Research Foundation invites you to a truly meaningful moment—our very first cancer research event in Athens, Greece, on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
This is more than an event. It is a homecoming. A mission that has crossed oceans now returns to its roots, carrying with it hope for countless lives.
Cancer has touched all of us in some form or way. It has taken mothers from their children, children from their parents, and loved ones from those who needed them most. No family should have to endure this kind of loss. No child should grow up without a parent. No heart should carry that pain alone.
That is why we are here.
Through bold, forward-thinking research, Dr. Leonidas Platanias and his world-renowned team of scientists and physicians are working tirelessly toward one goal: to END CANCER as we know it. Their dedication is unwavering—but they cannot do it alone.
