The Hippocratic Cancer Research Foundation is teaming up with Kanela Breakfast Club and renowned photographer Kinda Arzon for a special evening of empowerment, philanthropy, and sourdough baking! Kinda Arzon, a Chicago-based maternity and portrait photographer, is known for capturing the strength and beauty of women through her artistic talents. Her work has been featured in People Magazine and Us Weekly, showcasing her unique ability to highlight resilience and grace. And as a side hobby, she loves making homemade sourdough bread, blending her creativity in the kitchen with her passion for health and wellness. Join us for this unforgettable evening where health and baking come together for a cause!

At this event, Kinda will guide you through the process of creating your own sourdough starter and nurturing it into a loaf of delicious, healthy bread. Participants will have a front-row seat to watch the entire process and gain hands-on knowledge. This is an unforgettable opportunity to learn a timeless craft while supporting a great cause! You’ll leave with a mason jar containing 50g of starter and the knowledge of how to feed and care for this live yeast at home—essentially making your own sourdough from scratch!

All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Lurie Cancer Center—come out and join us for this fun twist on a fundraising event!
