HCRF 2026 Check Reveal

Last week, the Hippocratic Cancer Research Foundation proudly presented Dr. Leonidas Platanias with a $400,000 check in support of non-restrictive, out-of-the-box cancer research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
The evening brought together leading voices in oncology—including Dr. Maha Hussain, Dr. William Gradishar, and HCRF Founder Eleni Bousis—who shared insights into the research our community helps fuel, reflected on the impact of this year’s support, and discussed exciting initiatives ahead.
Together, we highlighted how HCRF funding empowers innovation, accelerates discovery, and gives researchers the freedom to explore what’s next.
